Vikram Nair is a Dispute Resolution lawyer at Norton Rose (Asia) LLP. He specialises in international arbitration, dealing mostly with complex disputes spanning multiple jurisdictions.
He started practice as a lawyer in 2005 with the Dispute Resolution Department at Allen & Gledhill LLP. There he had the opportunity to learn from one of Singapore’s top litigators and assisted on a number of high profile cases, including the claim by NKF against its former board of directors.
Vikram started work as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company in Singapore from 2002 to 2004. He worked around the region, in Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand across a variety of industries, including oil and gas and finance.
Vikram has been assisting at Meet the People Sessions (MPS) at Chong Pang since 2008 and later also became a member of the Citizens’ Consultative Committee (CCC). Since 2011, he has also been active at the neighbouring Admiralty ward.
He is on the committee of various non-profit societies in Singapore, including one dedicated to fostering the education of the Malayalam language. He is also a panel member of the Social Development Unit’s Partner Connection Fund, which provides seed capital to dating agencies in Singapore. He is also an Advisor to the Young PAP.
